Welcome to the duel server based on the old IL-2. The atmosphere familiar to aviasim has been restored:

In the good old days of IL-2, dueling servers were a sacred place that duelists kept an eye on. When one of us would go to such a server, others would notice him and join in to keep him company. This casual way of dueling was very popular. The goal of the server is to restore the former traditions and breathe life into the dueling community of War Thunder-based flight simulator fans.

There are no gawkers on the server, because it is password protected - it is a closed club where you can enter only by invitation through the site, discord and utility. If you see someone on the server, it means that he is a priori looking for a rival and is waiting for you!

🤺 FEATURES

  • Appearance altitude is 1000m.
  • The distance between respawns is 3500m.
  • The airplane's starting speed is 300km/h (tas).
  • Can duel at the same time - up to 7 pairs.
  • Auto-restart after winning a battle works.
  • Added fields for observation from the ground.
  • War Thunder arcade interface is disabled.
  • Blocked cheating program WTRTI.

📜 RULES

  • Be polite, say hello after connecting.
  • Write in the general chat channel for all members to see.
  • If you want to find an opponent, ask who's available.
  • Select the aircraft, convergence altitude and spawn points;
    • the icons on the map are clickable, yours are blue.
  • First flight on command;
    • report to the chat room when you're ready.
    • or give the "Go" command when your opponent is ready.
  • On the first convergence, do not shoot unless otherwise agreed.
  • Don't jump out unless you're sure you've been hurt.
  • Warn your opponent before the last flight.
  • Be sure to thank for dueling.

⚠️ CONNECTION VIA UTILITY

  • A game client is required to participate, download from here:
  • To avoid spoiling the experience with arcade pumping, I recommend buying a couple of popular dueling planes:
  • Then find your ID in WT-profile.
    • this can be done through the WT-website or hangar, if you open your profile and click on the button to change your nickname.
  • Now open the WT-conn utility, select the server, copy the ID into the appropriate field and send yourself an invitation.
  • We return to WT-hangar and accept the invitation.

⚠️ CONNECT VIA DISCORD

  • Сommands:
    • /status + tab = shows players on the server
    • /invite + tab + user-ID = an invitation will be sent
